KD240 is an alphanumeric terminal suitable in all the applications in which are required versatility and small footprint. Equipped of its optional devices it allows for the employment for the most varied applications.

24 or 96 pages of job. They can also maintain (version 32K Ram) data on terminal off so it is possible to use the KD240 as display device of texts or to memorize in permanent way the messages of frequent use (ex.  errors & warnings).

 Alphanumeric membrane keyboard with tactile feeling and acoustic Beep. Possibility to realize personalized keyboards for devoted applications or particular graphic demands of Client.
Eight function keys customizable by the consumer through special label.
The function keys are tripled though the contemporary digitation of the key SHIFT+ key function or CTRL+ key function.
Leds embedded in the keys function are fully managed remotely through special ESCAPE sequences.

7/8 bits character, 1-2 stop bit, equality even/odd/none.
All the parameters can be planned by keyboard to level of SETUP and are also maintained when terminal is switched off.
Protocol Xon/Xoff or handshake hardware through RTS/CTS.
Possibility of connection in MULTIDROP  RS422/485 up to 32 terminals.

Optic pen for bar codes reading (optional)
• Allows to read labels with bar codes codefied in CODE 39, EAN/UPC/JAN, CODABAR, 2/5 5 bars, 2/5 interleaved.

Badge readers to 1 or 2 traces (optional)
