MTS3: 3 a.c. motors strain sensor, for accurate car washing results!
The MTS3 electronic device has been designed to measure the stress up to three “three-phase motors” suitably connected. Voltage, current and cosφ are measured on a single winding, for each motor, that is the active power absorbed on that winding.
The measurement allows the detection of the increase in engine effort, for example due to the variation in friction on the rotating brushes on a car wash system, when they get in contact with the car.
A peculiarity of MTS3 product is the processing of the instantaneous power measurement detected: this is analyzed filtered and purified from items of spurious nature, capable of altering the real measurement. Special analysis and filtering techniques are adopted, as result of the experience gained in many years of MTS3 field application.
The 3 measures of effort motor are made with the following typologies of interface available:
- 3 channels DAC 0-10Vdc
- 1 Ethernt connection with protocol TCP/IP
Optional on request and on payment of a surcharge: 1 RS-485 connection with Modbus protocol
The three greatness, for every motor, they come so glances:
- Current: through the use of transformers of tide, galvanically isolated, wire loop, climbed on external profile of MTS3 (“TA1”, “TA2” , “TA3”);
- Tension and Phase: tension transformer, of redoubts dimensions, contained inside MTS3;
Optional: the measure of the temperature. Connecting a probe of temperature on MTS3 connector, will notice the measured temperature furnishing as gives to the PLC.
