Description
The system, from now on referred to as HSRIO, allows the management of remote I/O from a PC via high-speed LAN connection.
By remote I/O we mean a series of intelligent units dedicated to logical and analogue input/output functions, motor control, encoder reading, etc.
The choice of the LAN type connection allows to obtain two important performances:
- standard interface, which does not require additional hardware for connection to a PC as all are already equipped with it.
- high data transfer speed
NETWORK:
- Ethernet 10/100 MHz RJ45 bus, relayed to local bus
- High speed synchronous serial or RS485 bus 115 Kb/S
- Very fast protocol: 0.2 ms / CPU (e.g.: 5,120 digital inputs and 2,560 digital outputs in 1 ms)
- Up to 250 CPUs
- Up to 16 local and remote modules per CPU (up to 128,000 digital inputs and 64,000 digital outputs in 50 ms)
- Optical fibre connection possible
- Wireless connection possible (in case of non-criticality)
- Internet connection possible (in case of non-criticality)
- Ethernet network usable by other applications (if not critical)
HARDWARE:
- 24 Vdc power supply
- DIN rail mounting
- Extremely compact: 24-48 x 100 x 120 mm (w x h x d)
- Removable screw terminal blocks and D-shell connectors (counters)
- Economical, robust and fast wiring
SOFTWARE
- Configuration and testing tools
- Driver Windows® e RTX®
- Softlogic, Motion control and SCADA hiPlc®
SECURITY
- Flash memory for configuration hold
- Configurable output Watchdog
APPLICATIONS
- multi-axis fast machines
- packaging, palletisers
- Cartesian robots
- automatic warehouses
- building automation
- Testing
- etc.
