S.H.D. provides two version of MiniTerm: MT2 and MT3 that mainly distinguishes for the electronics characteristics of elaboration. MiniTerm is suitable in all the applications in which is required a simple but effective interface machine/operator. It is endowed with a display able to visualize messagges in language ASCII complete, and to purely perform the input of numerical data or type “key function”. MiniTerm is exclusively realized in palmterminal version.

Main applications of MiniTerm are:
– Man-machine interface in plants checked by PLC.
– Man-machine interface in operative machines and equipments of testing.
– Terminal of planning and diagnostic.
– Terminal for control accesses and automation of the productive trials.
– Terminal of production data collection.
– Custom special applications on customer request.
– Unity of reading a/o planning  TRANSPONDER key (only MT3 version).


Main Hardware characteristics:

Central Unit
MT2: uP CMOS serie C51, EEprom.
MT3: uP CMOS 16 bits, 512k Flash, 2+128k Ram, EEprom, Hw and Sw for planning TRANSPONDER key.

Display
 Display module LCD 12 characters X 2 lines (optional 16 charactrs X 2 lines), with backlight.

Keyboard
Numerical with keys function associated, to membrane with tactile feeling and acoustic Beep. Possibilty to realize versions personalized for devoted applications or particular graphic demands of the Client.
The function key are duplicated through the the typing of the function key ALT followed by the desired key function.

Serial line
MiniTerm has the following interface: RS232, RS422, RS485, Open Collector, Irda.

Power supply
External 12 / 24 Vdc or internal with battery NiCd or Alcaline mini stylo LR03 AAA 1,5 V.
